Should I let you know if my swimmer will not be at practice?
No. Many swimmers miss practices for various reasons (vacation, summer camp, etc) during the season. There is no need to let us know that your swimmer will miss practice.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to let us know if your swimmer is signed up for a meet but will not attend for some reason. It can take several hours to put together the relay teams for the meets, even with the assistance of the meet software.
Should I let you know if my swimmer will not be at a meet?
YES! The absence of a swimmer that is signed up for a meet but then does not show up and does not let us know causes a lot of stress as we scramble to find someone to fill the position. When we cannot find a substitute, we have to scratch and forfeit the event and often this means a relay team will not be able to swim. So please let us know:
- by the Mon prior to the Thurs meet when you cannot attend a meet because of a known commitment
- ASAP if you cannot make it to a meet that you are signed up for because of an emergency
How long is the average swim meet?
The average swim meet lasts 3- 3 ½ hours. This is contingent upon factors such as weather, size of the visiting team, and general flow of the meet. All meets begin at 5:30 PM. Your swimmer should arrive ahead of time to warm up. Warm up times will be shared prior to the meet. It is very important that your child be at the warm-up period prior to the meet. You should arrive 15 minutes prior to the warm-up period. For each meet, your child MUST check in at the bullpen upon arrival.
My child is swimming in a relay – what does that mean?
It means that 3 other children are depending on them to complete an event that is either in the beginning or end of the meet, depending on their age. If you are trying to determine when your child’s last event is, you can gauge the time-frame accordingly. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HOME BEFORE THEY SWIM IN THEIR RELAY. If a child leaves a meet early and causes a relay to be cancelled, he/she will not be entered in a relay the next meet.
What’s the inclement weather policy?
For meets: If the weather is threatening late in the afternoon of a scheduled meet, check your email/notifications for instructions. Unless a meet is cancelled via email, plan to go to meet as scheduled. If a meet is interrupted because of inclement weather, please stay in the area until the meet is resumed or “called." DO NOT GO HOME UNTIL YOU HAVE THE OFFICIAL WORD ON THE STATUS OF THE MEET. We will delay the meet until the storm passes or a decision is made to reschedule the meet for another night. Keep in mind that a lot of summer storms can pass by quickly. We will try our best to get the meet in on its scheduled night.
For practices: If there is a light rain, we will swim. If there is a heavy rain where we cannot see the bottom of the pool and/or thunder/lightening, then we will NOT swim. Please check your email and the "Home" page of this site for alerts about delays/cancelations.
How can I purchase the team swimsuit?
The team suit this year is the same as last year. If you swam last year and your swim suit still fits, you are good to go! If it's a little snug you can order the next size up. If you are a new swimmer who wants a team suit and you know your swimmer's suit size you are welcome to order via link below (please note these suits run a little snug). If you need to try on suits to know which size to order please fill out this google form and we will be in touch with day/time for a swim suit try on event. Registration Cost
The cost of each swimmer includes the entire season -- league fees, insurance coverage through the league, swim meet fees, a team swim cap, coaches, end of season party, etc.

Dues-paying Residents of Lake Windsong:
- $185 for 1 swimmer
- $165 for each additional swimmer in same family
Non-residents (of Lake Windsong Subdivision):
- $215 for 1 swimmer
- $195 for each additional swimmer in same family
When are swim practices?
May 18 and 20
4:30-5:20 pm: 7-8 age group
4:40-5:10pm: 6 & Under age group
5:15-6:00 pm: 9-10 age group
6-7 pm: 11-12 and 13-14 and 15-18 age groups
Once school is out for summer, practices will be Monday - Thursday mornings May 26 - June 25 (no practice Memorial Day Mon 5/25). Times are:
- 8 - 8:50 am (swimmers age 7-8)
- 8 - 8:40 am (swimmers age 6 and under)
- 8:45 - 9:45 am (swimmers age 9-10)
- 9:30 -10:30 am (swimmers 11-12 and 13-14 and 15-18)
There are NO practices ever on evenings, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

- Thursday June 4 @ 5:30pm AWAY at Redwine Rays
- Thursday June 11 @ 5:30pm HOME vs. Planterra
- Thursday June 18 @ 5:30pm AWAY at Highgrove
- Thursday June 25 @ 5:30pm AWAY at Whitewater Creek vs Whitewater AND Timberlake
- Saturday, June 27 exact times TBA (age 10 and younger swim ~ 7 am - noon / age 11 and older swim ~ 1 - 5 pm) Championship Meet @ Kedron Aquatic Center with all 10 teams competing
