Lake Windsong

We are a recreational summer swim team located in Tyrone, Georgia. We participate in the Peachtree City Summer Recreational League. The team practices for 6 weeks from mid-May to the end of June with a league championship held at the end of June. This is a great place for your swimmer to try out competitive swimming in a fun, encouraging and developmental setting.

Swimmers ages 5 - 18 (based on age as of 6/1/26) are welcome, but it is important to note this is not a swimming lesson program! All swimmers must have a working knowledge of freestyle (crawl stroke), they must be comfortable swimming with their face in the water and must be able to swim unassisted. This is a lap swimming workout, and all strokes will be introduced. 

At Lake Windsong we want to develop swimming skills of course, but also our swimmers' discipline and character. 

Who is a LWS swimmer?

I always try my best. I choose to have a good attitude and look for solutions, not problems. 

I am a good sport. I am kind, encouraging and respectful to both my own teammates and the other team. 

I do the right thing. I am honest, trustworthy and act with integrity.

Saturday, March 21, 2026: We will have one week only of PRIORITY registration to ensure spots for current Lake Windsong residents starting this date.

Saturday, March 28, 2026: Registration will open to non-residents of Lake Windsong and new LWS swimmers and we will close registration once all spots are filled - first come, first served.
